T. J. Ford Had Back Rehabilitation with Dr. Robert Watkins IV

For me, it was important to have a specialist guiding me. We take a lot of hard hits as athletes and we need the understanding and the experience of someone who had worked with them up close. Dr. Watkins at Marina Hospital was just that for me.

I took a bad hit during a game and I had to be taken out on a stretcher. It definitely sticks with you, this kind of experience I mean. I was not able to return for a bit but during that time I tried to contact all sorts of specialists that could offer me the best ways to move forward. I have a history of neck injuries and on top of that, I suffer from spinal stenosis.
