Your healing process is our primary focus. Marina del Rey Hospital shares its focus on exceptional medical care with both Marina Spine Center and Marina Weight Loss within walking distance of the hospital. Our Patient Liaison is on-site daily Monday-Friday to answer your questions about services such as information on transportation, lodging, renting a DVD, or assisting your family during their time in the area. The information they provide is also available online prior to and after your stay. Additionally, you will find our volunteer staff in the main lobby ready to greet you, your family and friends. Before You Arrive
We understand the challenges posed when away from home and possibly in a new town. Our Patient Liason or our Hospitality Coordinator can assist with travel research and reservations for all of your travel needs including flights, airport transportation, lodging recommendations and local travel coordination, including any special transport needs such as wheelchair assistance. While You Are Here
Marina del Rey not only features a beautiful Marina but is also host to many lodging, restaurant, entertainment and shopping venues. Our team understands family and friends may accompany you during your stay at Marina del Rey Hospital and have their own special needs. We have included both patient and visitor information below.
General visiting hours: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM daily. Two visitors at a time are permitted in patient's room unless otherwise authorized. ICU: Visiting is limited to two members of the immediate family, 15 minutes out of each hour, around the clock. No visitors are allowed between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM or between7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Visitors under the age of 12 will not be allowed beyond the front lobby. If there are any questions, call the appropriate nursing unit. If the nurse gives permission for the child to go to the patient's room, obtain the name of the nurse and allow the child to visit the patient. To reach a patient dial 310.823.8911 and provide the operator the room number or last name of the patient. Mail services are provided for both incoming and outgoing packages. Mail is delivered daily directly to the patient room.
Wireless internet service is available in all patient rooms.
Patient meals are served at approximately 7 am, 12 noon and 5 pm. Meal selections will be based upon your physician’s requirements, however, our Executive Chef works closely to ensure your meals are flavorful and provide a wide variety of offerings. L.A. Bite offers delivery for a large selection of local restaurants in Marina del Rey – this service is available for our patients who are on a regular diet and for their families. Phone: (310) 823-8911.
Our Cafeteria is open 7:00am-9:30am and 11:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday.
Vending Machines are available 24 hours in the Cafeteria area.

Dry cleaning and bulk laundry can be arranged through our Patient Liaison. Provides for a 2-day turnaround (Mon-Fri). Package Shipping Packages may be shipped via same day courier, next day or standard ground services.
Valet and Self Parking are available on-site at the front of the hospital. We do not validate for parking. Parking rates are $2.50 per 20 minutes with a $10.00 maximum daily.
