Josh Hamilton Had Back Rehabilitation with Dr. Robert Watkins IV

When I woke up, it was a night-and-day difference. It was surreal. Only the day before, my pain was causing me such suffering. I greatly appreciated just simply feeling good. I knew the pain was a burden on me but I didn't realize how much of a burden it was until I was free of it.

I only gave injections another chance because I was going to be treated by Dr. Watkins. I knew of other athletes that have had treatment at the Marina Spine Center and I was determined to take my back issues there. I really had nothing to lose at that point. I was dealing with intense pain and had received injections previously, none of which worked.

Dr. Watkins at Marina Hospital administered an epidural for a pinched nerve and also a cortisone shot for an inflammation that was caused by what he had explained to me as a small stress fracture in my back. I sensed a difference immediately, but by the next day, it was an obvious relief, just like Dr. Watkins told me it should happen. I was very happy about it. I made a great choice going there.
