Hiroki Kuroda Had Neck Rehabilitation with Dr. Robert Watkins IV

Meeting with Dr. Watkins and talking to him about my neck injury was eye-opening. He's seen many like me before and he knew the probabilities of what could happen if I acted in certain ways. I'm thankful for his willingness to help and to support me.

It wasn't the luckiest of times for me but it could happen to just about anyone. It’s not pleasant and it can be very demoralizing at times, but I’d like to think I did all I could to deal with my circumstances in the best possible way. I got Dr. Watkins from the Marina Spine Center on board, which I definitely think was the right thing to do.

The problem is that there is a bulging disc in my neck that I don’t know exactly how to handle it. Dr. Watkins has been helping me trying to figure it out. I straight up asked him what would happen if I just continued to play through the pain and his response was that it would aggravate the injury to the point of surgery. It’s up to me to see where I take this, but, of course, I’ll take the opinion of a spine expert into consideration.
