I had to have my herniated disc removed and I worked with the team at Marina Hospital in this matter. I could tell that they were as professional as it gets. Dr. Watkins has a great reputation for a reason and the staff is wonderfully skilled and attentive.

I found out that I was going to have to undergo surgery. Dr. Watkins at Marina Hospital walked me through the entire process before it even came to the moment of surgery. I had lots of questions. How long would the surgery take? What would be the possible ways in which it could go wrong? What was it that I could do to make sure there wouldn't be a bad outcome? And a few others, I’m sure.

Dr. Watkins was amazing. He explained to me how the surgery was going to be performed and then he presented me with a rehabilitation plan. The part about having to stay put for approximately three months was a bit difficult to accept but I understood that it was the best option I had so I went with it. I thought they did a wonderful job and I would recommend them to anyone who listens.
