Sometimes you just have to rest. It sounds simple but you work hard every day and you kind of get lost in it until your health sort of alerts you that you should take it easy. Dr. Watkins at Marina Hospital did a great deal for me and my back pain.

A few years back I was diagnosed with a bulging disc and ever since then I had to deal with bouts of intense back soreness. You have no say in when they happen, and I usually just endured them because I kind of figured out the pattern of when the pain comes and goes. It wasn’t the smartest thing to do, I’ll admit to that.

I finally gave in and I went to Marina Hospital to see Dr. Watkins who specializes in spine issues. I had an MRI and it revealed that I had a mild disc inflammation. He told me that I was going to have to take off about 10 days and see if things get better. It was a small price to pay, especially if I was going to get back to being 100% capable and healthy. The discomfort had been going on for several weeks and so the kind of break suggested by Dr. Watkins was much appreciated.
