What will happen right after the ureteroplasty surgery?

Right after ureteroplasty, you might experience symptoms like pain, nausea, and fatigue. The pain will be controlled with the aid of medicines. After you are discharged, make sure you take all your medications as your doctor advised you to.

Avoid vigorous activities and heavy lifting, don’t drive until your doctor tells you it’s ok to do it.

Don’t strain during bowel movements (take stool softeners if necessary, avoid bathing and swimming.
