What is the difference between a spa facial and a medical facial?

A medical facial consists in a deeper cleansing of the skin and a stronger peeling. The chemicals used and the procedures are of a higher effect, more durable and more efficient than the spa facials.

A spa facial contains a light facial massage that can be energizing, lifting or relaxing. It is often combined with a superficial pore cleansing or a light dermabrasion procedure that exfoliates a layer of dead skin cells.

Additionally it may involve the application of a variety of creams and lotions that are meant to relax and tonify the texture of your skin for a short time.

The medical facial may not be as relaxing as a spa treatment but if your goal is to improve the condition of your skin significantly then this is what you need.
