What do I have to tell my doctor before the ulnar nerve decompression intervention?
Your doctor will need to know more about your health before he or she decides that this is the right procedure for you.
Talk to your doctor about your detailed medical history; any chronic diseases you have been diagnosed with or any previous interventions. You should tell your doctor if you are on any medication. Certain drugs such as blood thinners, aspirin and anti-inflammatories should be avoided for seven days prior to ulnar nerve decompression. If you suffer from any allergies or if you have family members suffering from bleeding disorders, your doctor should know about it.
