
Yosef Nasseri, M.D.
Dr. Yosef Nasseri is double board-certified in General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery and specializes in cutting-edge robotic and minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of colon and rectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, benign anorectal diseases, a variety of hernias, and general surgery. After earning his Bachelor's degree from UCLA, he attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. The surgeon subsequently completed a seven-year General Surgery residency, with a year dedicated to research at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Following his residency, Dr. Yosef Nasseri completed a fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic.
He is a member of several reputable medical and surgical societies and has done a wide variety of charitable work, including medical missions in third world countries, organizing services to disadvantaged communities, and educating young people on the prevention of HIV and other communicable diseases. The surgeon has also published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, is a reviewer of several journals, and has delivered lectures and participated in panels and committees at national and international conferences.
