Yosef Nasseri, M.D.
Yosef Nasseri, M.D., is double board-certified in general and colorectal surgery and specializes in cutting-edge robotic and minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of colon and rectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease, benign anorectal diseases, a variety of hernias, and general surgery. After obtaining his bachelor's degree from UCLA, Dr. Nasseri attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then completed a seven-year general residency, with a year dedicated to research at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in colorectal surgery at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Nasseri is a member of several reputable medical and surgical societies and has performed a wide variety of charitable work, including medical missions in third world countries, organizing services to disadvantaged communities, and educating young people on prevention of HIV and other communicable diseases. He is very active in academia. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, is a reviewer of several journals, and has delivered lectures and participated in panels and committees at national and international conferences.
