Dr. Vernon B. Williams is specialized in Neurology and Pain Management, with emphasis on conditions of the spine and neck, Electromyography and Sports Neurology/concussions. Dr. Williams earned his medical doctorate from the University of Michigan, then he completed his internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and completed a residency in Neurology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. The clinical fellowship was performed in Baltimore, at the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Division of Pain Medicine at John Hopkins Hospital. Currently Dr. Williams is the Director of the Kerlan-Jobe Center for Sports Neurology. He eventually developed a multidisciplinary pain program under the Pain Management umbrella at KJOC including pain psychology, acupuncture, biofeedback and alternative physical therapy consultants.
