Dr. Rad is a joint replacement fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, including arthroscopic surgery, shoulder, hip and knee joint replacement, and orthopaedic trauma. He is trained extensively in primary total knee replacement with patient specific custom implants, partial knee replacement, revision total knee replacement, and primary and revision total hip replacement including direct anterior hip replacement, Mako Robotic partial knee replacement, robotic total hip replacement, computer navigation total knee and hip replacement, and bi-cruciate total knee arthroplasty, as well as total shoulder replacement, and reverse total shoulder replacement. Dr. Rad has served as a clinical instructor in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Southern California training orthopaedic residents, and medical students. He remains active in teaching medical students at the USC Keck School of Medicine. He serves as the editor for the World Journal of Orthopaedics, and Trauma Cases and Review, and a reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
