As a gastroenterologist who is currently affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital, Dr. Shahab Mehdizadeh received honors and commendations as a student at UCLA and the University of Rochester School of Medicine. He has been involved in research projects focusing on endoscopic techniques, which have subsequently been published in major journals. The physician values nutrition in the treatment of his patients and prevention of disease. Dr. Shahab Mehdizadeh specializes in liver disease and he also diagnoses and treats disorders of the intestines, colon, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, esophagus, stomach, and hemorrhoids, with emphasis on colon and esophagus cancer prevention.
