Richard Rogachefsky, M.D.
Dr. Richard Rogachefsky is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His medical expertise is in orthopedic surgery and in hand and upper extremity surgery. In 1983, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Rochester. Subsequently, the physician received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1987. Dr. Richard Rogachefsky's professional training continued with the completion of a Surgical Internship at Jackson Memorial Medical Center's Department of Surgery, followed by a highly regarded Hand and Microsurgery fellowship at the University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital's Department of Orthopedics.
His professional experience also involves a keen interest in research, which resulted in numerous articles and presentations featured in peer medical publications. Dr. Richard Rogachefsky has co-authored 3 books, namely "The Wrist and Hand", "The Elbow: Anatomy, Pathology and Diagnosis", and "Hand Rehabilitation after Surgery". Dr. Richard Rogachefsky has over 35 years of professional experience and in addition to having a medical license for California, he can also practice in Florida, New York, and Arizona at the moment. He is certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Surgery of the Hand by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
