Dr. Richard Lam is a board-certified internist and oncologist, full-time specialized in the treatment of prostate cancer since 2001. He serves as a director of clinical research at Prostate Oncology Specialists, Inc. Dr. Lam has a vast research activity based on which he authored multiple articles. He is also an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. Concerned about how he can use his knowledge to the benefit of the general audience, he also provides free prostate cancer management advice to patients at “Patient to Physician” on www.pcri.org. Dr. Lam is a fervent promoter of prostate cancer awareness and education by giving lectures at various medical conferences and engaging in prostate support groups throughout the country. One of his particular interests involves utilizing state-of-the-art therapeutics for advanced prostate cancer.
