Oren A. Friedman, M.D.
Dr. Oren A. Friedman is an attending physician in the Department of Pulmonology at Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and specializes in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. He spent most of his career in the medical intensive care unit, where he introduced and helped create a variety of novel critical care technologies, including the use of point-of-care echo and ultrasound, improved airway management, and a variety of innovative treatments. Dr. Friedman was important in expanding the technique of therapeutic hypothermia after cardiac arrest and strengthening the institution's resuscitation practices prior to joining Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital.
