
Michael Dawson, M.D.
Dr. Michael Dawson is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular & Interventional Radiology. Having graduated from the Keck School of Medicine of USC, he subsequently engaged in multiple residencies at the VA Medical Center and University of Southern California/LAC+USC Medical Center, where he gained expertise in Radiology. The physician is also fellowship-trained in Vascular & Interventional Radiology. Dr. Michael Dawson is a respected member of the Society of Interventional Radiology. He currently serves as Chief of Staff at Centinela Hospital Medical Center and has recently joined the administration of medical staff to help shape the value of medicine and pharmaceuticals in the evolving American healthcare system. Dr. Michael Dawson has participated in numerous clinical trials, notably leading gene therapy studies at the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, which included some of the earliest adenovirus gene transfer studies. He has a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, which he earned from UCLA in 1990, and a Master's degree in Molecular genetics and Human Genome Project, which he also received in 1990 from UCLA.
