
Matthew Lee, M.D.
Dr. Matthew Lee is a board-certified otolaryngologist with extensive training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is educated in the medical and surgical care of every area of general otolaryngology, with a special focus on reconstructive surgery, particularly functional rhinoplasty for the treatment of nasal valve blockage. The physician began his medical study at Boston University, where he was one of a select few high school students admitted to medical school early via a combined baccalaureate/MD training program. Dr. Matthew Lee completed a five-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at UCLA and further specialized training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University after his residency. This fellowship was focused on cosmetic and reconstructive facial, head, and neck surgery. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was additionally selected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Dr. Matthew Lee has a strong interest in academic medicine and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on various topics in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has been the recipient of a research grant for his work in tissue engineering and has spoken at national meetings across the country. The physician is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Matthew Lee has approximately 10 years of professional experience. His subspecialty is facial plastic surgery. He regularly diagnoses and treats patients with health problems such as a deviated septum, polyps, swallowing disorders, facial trauma, hearing loss, and chronic sinusitis.
