Dr. Jeremy Korman is the medical director of Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital's bariatric program, Marina Weight Management Center. He is a leading weight loss surgeon with extensive clinical experience and is board-certified in laparoscopic and bariatric surgery. Dr. Jeremy Korman earned his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Cornell University and his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and completed his General Surgery residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Since completing a fellowship in Laparoscopic General Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, one of the United States' preeminent medical facilities, he has performed thousands of advanced laparoscopic and bariatric surgeries. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Jeremy Korman has been a member of research teams that have published articles on a variety of surgical topics in several peer-reviewed journals. He continues to be involved in research and the development of innovative weight-loss surgical procedures.
