Dr. Chon is specialized in the treatment of spinal disorders, back and neck pain, with a particular interest in scoliosis and minimally invasive spine surgery. After earning his medical doctorate at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Chon went on with his orthopedic residency at the University of Southern California and a spine fellowship in Chicago, at Rush-St. Luke-Presbyterian Hospital. After completing his training in 1999, Dr. Chon has been treating spine problems with Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in both their offices from Los Angeles and Orange County. The Kerlan-Jobe Clinic doctors also serve as team physicians and consultants to the Los Angeles Kings, USC Sports, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Lakers, Senior PGA Tour, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, PGA Tour, Los Angeles Sparks, Loyola Marymount University and Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Dr. Chon has authored 6 publications so far and lectures regularly.
