When surgery is necessary, Dr. Hamid Mir employs advanced microscopic technology with proven efficacy to produce the most optimal results. He also emphasizes education throughout the process of each case, actively involving his patients in their treatment plans and recovery. The surgeon has conducted extensive research, producing multiple abstracts and national presentations, including posterior cervical fusion techniques at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Hamid Mir's authored chapters include "Anterior Cervical System", "Surgical Techniques in Spinal Instrumentation", "The Unconstrained Implant", and "Non-Fusion Techniques for the Spine".
He is a member of the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Scoliosis Research Society, and the California Orthopaedic Association. He has approximately 15 years of professional experience. Prior to practicing in California, Dr. Hamid Mir had a medical license for Colorado and Illinois.
