Biography

George Cyril, MD is a physical medicine & rehabilitation specialist (Physiatrist), fellowship-trained in interventional spine and sports medicine. Dr. Cyril’s clinical interests include non-surgical spine medicine, sports medicine and the treatment of musculoskeletal pain syndromes. Dr. Cyril has formal training with regenerative medicine techniques like platelet rich plasma (PRP) and stem cells (bone marrow aspirate) to treat common joint and back problems. He has been the team doctor for multiple Division I NCAA athletic programs. He is a member of the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the California Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Association, the International Spine Intervention Society, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine and the North American Spine Society. Dr. Cyril served as a Membership Committee Member and Resident Physician Council for the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in addition to other leadership positions during his career.
