Dr. Franklin L. Rimell is one of the otolaryngologists who are currently affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital. He received his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, North Chicago, Illinois, in 1988. The physician offers medical diagnosis and therapy, as well as head and neck surgery, including endoscopic surgery. Dr. Franklin L. Rimell is the former Chief of Pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat at the University of Minnesota, having occupied this position between 1995 and 2017, and has been the Vice Chief and Program Director of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center since 2018.

He is board-certified as a Diplomat in otolaryngology. Before practicing medicine in California, he had medical licenses for Pennsylvania and Minnesota and the physician can also practice medicine in Florida. Dr. Franklin L. Rimell has also partaken in multiple clinical trials, including the Hummingbird TTS Ear Tube Delivery Study and the Pivotal Clinic Study of the H-TTS. He is also the recipient of numerous awards, among which the Patients' Choice Aware for multiple years in a row and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition.
