
Eli Baron, M.D.
Dr. Eli M. Baron is a Clinical Neurosurgery Associate Professor and a neurosurgeon who is currently affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He graduated from the State University of New York at Binghamton, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Biological Sciences. Subsequently, the physician earned his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine, where he also completed a preliminary surgery year and a Neurological Surgery residency. Dr. Eli M. Baron underwent additional training in orthopedic spine surgery at the famous Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and a combined neurosurgical/orthopedic spine fellowship at the Cedars-Sinai Spine Center. He is a prolific researcher and has published extensively in the fields of spine surgery and neurological surgery.
The surgeon is the author and co-author of over 60 articles and book chapters on a wide range of subjects, all related to spinal disorders and spine surgery. Dr. Eli M. Baron has over 20 years of professional experience and he is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Prior to practicing in California, he had a medical license for Pennsylvania. Over the years, he has been the recipient of numerous awards, such as the Frisch School Award in Biology, the Doctor Herman Brown Award for Excellence in the Study of the Art and Science of Surgery, and the Resident Research Award: Pan Philadelphia Neurosurgery Meeting. The physician is also a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Eli M. Baron has a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences, which he earned with honors, Summa Cum Laude, from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1995.
