Deven Khosla, M.D.
Dr. Deven Khosla is a spine and neurosurgery specialist affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital. He has studied medicine in Chicago at Loyola University Medical Center, where he also completed a rigorous Neurosurgery training program and graduated from UC Davis. He has been in private practice in Northern Nevada for 15 years and then at Los Angeles Kaiser Permanente Medical center for 3 years prior to founding Achieve Brain and Spine. He is an acclaimed and board-certified neurosurgeon, practicing advanced spine and neurological treatments for almost 20 years.
He has a unique perspective treating spine and brain conditions as to how the nerves can affect a patient’s quality of life. As a Neurosurgeon, he feels that the opportunity to help people get back to doing the activities they love in their lives is a privilege.
Dr. Khosla has extensive experience with a wide range of procedures being known for performing surgeries efficiently and with meticulous care that lead to a low rate of complications. His ability to perform complex surgeries quickly lowers the time that a patient spends under anesthesia and the potential for blood loss. He also puts an emphasis on early mobilization and reduction of risk for blood clots. The majority of his patients do not need a urinary Foley catheter, this leading to a reduced risk of a patient developing a urinary infection after surgery.
