David Stoker, M.D.
Dr. David Stoker is one of the most renowned plastic surgeons in Los Angeles and a nationally recognized leader in cosmetic surgery. The Consumers' Research Council of America and the New York Times have chosen him as one of the top U.S. plastic surgeons. His expertise focuses on cosmetic surgery and he has performed thousands of procedures over the past decade, using new and conventional techniques to enhance the aesthetic requirements of his patients. Dr. David Stoker also serves as a course instructor for his colleagues at the annual meetings of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is a distinguished member of the Keck School of Medicine's clinical faculty at the University of Southern California. By virtue of his experience and popularity, he has been featured on numerous television programs, including "The Today Show", "The Doctors", and "Dr. Phil", and also on The Learning Channel.
Dr. David Stoker is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and he crafts results that are beautiful and natural-looking through safe, state-of-the-art techniques. In addition to his practice, the plastic surgeon is active in research, often authoring peer-reviewed studies and textbook chapters. He has conducted leading research on facial nerve anatomy, as it relates to facelift surgery, and presented his research to medical professionals around the world. Dr. David Stoker served as a clinical investigator for the popular cohesive silicone gel breast implants and his research concerning power-assisted liposuction has helped change the way surgeons perform the procedure. The medical professional also has a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Biology and Political Science, which he earned from Stanford University in 1991. While at Stanford, Dr. Stoker was awarded the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Major Grant, for Undergraduate Research. Dr. David Stoker has over 25 years of professional experience and before practicing medicine in California, he had a medical license for New York.
