Brett B. Chamernik, M.D.
Dr. Brett Bernard Chamernik is one of the orthopedic surgeons who are currently affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. The physician offers adequate care for all structures of the musculoskeletal system that are directly affected by participation in sporting activity and he is knowledgeable in areas such as conditioning, training, and fitness, athletic performance, and the impact of dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, and nutrition on performance and health, as well as coordination of care within the team setting using other health care providers. Dr. Brett Chamernik can prevent and treat sports injuries by knowing the concepts and methods of rehabilitation, athletic equipment, and orthotic devices. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University. In addition to practicing medicine in California, the physician also has a medical license for Michigan.
