
Alexis E. Dixon, M.D.
Dr. Alexis E. Dixon is one of the orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons who are currently affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey Hospital. She graduated valedictorian of her medical school class with Highest Distinction at the University of Southern California. The physician completed her Orthopaedic Surgery residency at USC, with a significant portion of her training at the Los Angeles County Medical Center, one of the largest and busiest trauma centers in the United States. Dr. Alexis E. Dixon completed her fellowship in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle surgery at one of the oldest and foremost Foot and Ankle fellowships in the country, namely at Baylor University in Dallas. There, she gained valuable expertise in complex lower extremity reconstruction and injury management.
Dr. Alexis E. Dixon is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. The surgeon has presented her research on issues in foot and ankle surgery at national meetings for both of these societies. Dr. Alexis E. Dixon received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature and Studio Art from Pomona College in Claremont, California. She has approximately 20 years of professional experience and before practicing medicine in California, the physician had a medical license for Texas.
