Dr. Marmureanu is a General Surgeon at Marina del Rey Hospital. A prominent Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon, he has special expertise in the field of Minimally Invasive Surgery, where he developed and pioneered several techniques and procedures. Dr. Marmureanu is the founding physician of California Heart & Lung Surgery Medical Center, and has authored numerous research papers and publications. A member of multiple organizations and committees, both nationally and internationally, Dr. Marmureanu maintains a busy and active Cardiothoracic Surgery practice, performing over 400 surgical cases per year.
