Things like these don't just go away on their own. I took a pretty bad hit and the only thing I wish I would have done differently is scheduling that appointment with Dr. Robert Watkins sooner. I don't know what I was waiting for, but I'm glad I finally saw him.

I knew things weren’t right after I hurt my back. I tried to shrug it off but I could no longer pretend that I wasn't in pain. I was mostly afraid that if I didn’t address it soon it will worsen somehow and I had all these goals that I was focused on. I had heard about Dr. Robert Watkins and I knew that he was an expert in anything related to back surgery, so I had an appointment scheduled. We talked a lot and he asked me questions about what exactly had happened and about what I had done since then.

I was pretty nervous going into the meeting but then we were having this conversation about what he could do to help me and I just became more comfortable. He told me that I needed to have surgery in order to remove a disc fragment from my lower back. He made it sound easy. I’m glad I decided to work with him on this one.
