Randy Johnson Had Lumbar Microdiscectomy with Dr. Robert Watkins IV

It was not my first time working with Dr. Robert Watkins and I went back for a reason. The man knows what he is doing and, personally, I also had the advantage of him already having records on my past issues so we kind of just immediately went through the whole thing.

Having worked with Dr. Robert Watkins before really made it an easy decision for me to make this time around. Dr. Watkins fixed me before and I had full confidence in him that he would be able to do it again. At that point, he knew me well enough to understand that I was not just going to quit doing what I love. But I also sat there and listened to his points about my recovery. We had to work as a team to make me better.

It wasn’t the first time that I was coming back fully able to perform. The pain was pretty bad though and I felt like I was making it worse when I had to move around, which is not something that someone doing what I do wants on their plate. It wasn’t just the pain, either, but because it was hurting me so much I tried not to strain too much which meant that I basically couldn't fully engage my landing leg. I thank Dr. Watkins for everything.
