Darryl Strawberry Had Lumbar Microdiscectomy with Dr. Robert Watkins IV

I am very thankful to doctor Watkins and to the staff at Marina Hospital. Anyone who has experienced physical pain for longer periods of time knows what I'm talking about when I say that I am very grateful to have had it corrected. It was a pleasure to work with them.

I had issues with my lower back, that’s why I went to Marina Hospital. I met Dr. Robert Watkins there and he told me all about the way we could fix it. I needed to have surgery. Dr. Watkins did it himself.

I liked that he took the time to explain the diagnosis to me and not just schedule a date for surgery and dismiss me. It is surprisingly easy to keep up with the information when things are explained to you in the manner in which Dr. Watkins did in my case. Basically, they had to remove a fragment of an intervertebral disc from my lower back. That was the cause of pain and the way toward a solution. The surgery was a success. I also have to credit the staff. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable too.
