Daniel Hackett Had Spine Rehabilitation with Dr. Robert Watkins IV

I was so convinced I needed to have surgery but it turns out I did not. I had a consultation with Dr. Robert Watkins and all these things I had in my head about how I was going to deal with the whole situation were put to rest. He proposed another plan of attack.

To be honest, when I went to the Marina Spine Center I did not know what was wrong with me. I hoped that the consultation would help me figure it out. I just knew that I had this constant pain and I was worried that it didn’t seem to go away, so that’s exactly what I told Dr. Robert Watkins. It turned out I had a stress fracture somewhere in my lower back which scared me a bit until he told me that the issue can be addressed without surgery.

To say I was relieved was an understatement. He presented to me a rehabilitation program that was going to strengthen my core and said that it is up to me and the efforts I put in to get better. I was happy I didn't need surgery. I was ready to do anything he demanded in order to get better in the way he envisioned. The team was there every step of the way to keep me informed and motivated.
