Sura’s rehabilitation is expected to last at least eight weeks, about two weeks after the Rockets' season opener against Sacramento on November 6.”
Houston Rockets guard Bob Sura, who signed with the Rockets in August, was injured during an offseason workout three weeks ago. He was diagnosed with a herniated disc in his lower back and had surgery Tuesday, performed by Dr. Robert Watkins of the Los Angeles Spine Surgery Institute.
A nine-year veteran who can play either guard spot, Sura’s rehabilitation is expected to last at least eight weeks, about two weeks after the Rockets' season opener against Sacramento on November 6. Sura averaged 7.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 80 games with Detroit and Atlanta last season and came one rebound away from having three straight triple-doubles in April with the Hawks.
