When should my child’s eyes be examined?

It is recommended that a first screening for general eye health should be done before or early around the age of six months.

If everything develops within healthy parameters then the next visual screening should occur at around the age of two and again at the age of five. In case of any detected abnormal function or developing of the eye or vision acuity, the child will be treated accordingly by an ophthalmologist and as the earliest medical intervention is the most beneficent, adequate measures will be taken.
