What precautions should I take after hemorrhoid excision?
Before you are discharged, we will give you all the necessary aftercare indications for your recovery.
After you are released from the hospital (which typically occurs right after the surgery), you should not drive or engage in any demanding activities as you might still experience the effects of the anesthesia. Strenuous activities and alcohol consumption are not recommended after hemorrhoid excision.
Certain medications such as aspirin should be avoided for two weeks. During recovery, your diet should contain foods that are rich in fibers and plenty of fluids.
