What exercises are recommended for people who had hip surgery?

Before you are discharged, your doctor will tell you all you need to know about your aftercare and recovery, including the types of exercises you should perform in order to recover faster.

Some of the exercises you can practice right after the hip replacement involve the contraction and relaxation of some of the muscles.

Your therapist will train you in order to adapt to the new artificial hip and be able to perform simple movements like sitting and bending without feeling discomfort.

It is essential to follow the precise indications provided by your therapist while exercising and the schedule that he or she recommended.

Make sure you complete the entire rehabilitation program, as you were instructed because these exercises ensure a faster and easier recovery.
