Primary care physicians help in managing common chronic illnesses, and also treat acute disorders such as flu, fever, abdominal pain, etc.

A primary care physician will be able to treat any medical condition that is not an emergency. Usually, primary care is provided in an outpatient setting. Here is a list of the wide range of conditions treated by a primary care physician:
