My hair is falling, what could be the cause?

Hair can fall for different reasons such as stress, genetic factors, auto-immune conditions, medications, age, seasonal changes, hair dye, cosmetics, etc.

There are many causes of hair fall. Sometimes it’s influenced by genetic factors, other times it may be caused by stress or an auto-immune condition.

Occasionally, hair-fall can be caused by specific illnesses, or it can be a side effect of a particular medication. Age can be a factor as well, and even seasonal changes in temperature, the durity of water and sometimes even increased sensitivity to cosmetics or hair dye.

A definite response you will get by consulting a dermatologist who will be able to diagnose your particular condition and provide the appropriate treatment.
