Is it healthy to wake up at night to urinate?

Waking up at night repeatedly to urinate can be a sign of urinary illness, but it also depends on how many liquids you drank before going to bed.

A person who does not have a urinary illness will urinate between four to eight times a day. However, there are numerous external factors that can influence the need to urinate, such as the amount of liquid you drink, the amount of physical exercise you do, the weather, whether you’re out in the sun or not, and many other factors.
