How long is the recovery process for the eyelid reconstructive surgery?

You will be able to turn back to your daily activities soon after the surgery. Your doctor will tell you more about your recovery’s timeline.

After eyelid reconstructive surgery, you will experience some post-operative symptoms such as swelling and bruising. We recommend patients to use ice in order to manage these symptoms.

Within 7-10 days, your skin will have a normal aspect and you will be able to resume your activities.

Your doctor will also provide you with more indications on how to resume your activity after this intervention. Strenuous exercises, for example, should be avoided for approximately 3 weeks.
