How long does it take to recover after a surgical procedure?

It depends on the complexity of the surgery, the patient's ability to heal and the body part that has been operated.

It usually takes ten days up to two weeks, but it depends of course on the healing ability of the patient’s skin as well as the complexity of the surgery. For example, cosmetic surgery performed on a nose where only the cartilage was reshaped would heal in about two weeks, while the reconstructive surgery of a nose where the bone tissue was repaired and adjusted might require a longer time to heal completely.
