How can I avoid chronic pain?

Chronic pain of physical causes is best avoided by treating the acute pain immediately.

For initial symptoms of pain, anti-inflammatory medications can be taken as a means of emergency, followed by a visit to the doctor’s office.

Severe pain left untreated can cause an array of emotional disturbances, anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Pain causes negative emotions, which in turn, causes more pain.

Chronic pain of emotional causes can be avoided by applying a proactive behavior, by being sociable.
