Can I get the results of my scan immediately after the procedure?
Technologists cannot and should not immediately hand over the results of the imaging procedures to their patients.
For reasons of timekeeping, they cannot pause and deliver results to individual patients; sometimes hundreds of “photographs” need to be reviewed by the technician to find the most accurate and relevant ones. For reasons of medical accuracy, your doctor should be the one who discusses your results with you, by interpreting the results of the best and most accurate images in comparison to previous scans and known data about your condition. That is why the final results are usually sent to the doctor who has referred you to our clinic.
